Artist Biography

Henry's concert work is impressively diverse, and he has developed a reputation for clarity and sensitivity in his interpretations of oratorio, concert and recital works.

He has performed Mahler's Symphony No 8, Orff’s Carmina Burana, Mozart's Requiem, Händel's Messiah, Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, Bach's St Matthew Passion, St John Passion and Christmas Oratorio, and Mendelssohn's Elijah, to name but a few.

Henry has premiered multiple symphonic concert works including Face (Ross Harris) for Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, A Trillion Souls (Gordon Hamilton) for Queensland Symphony Orchestra, and An Australian War Requiem (Christopher Bowen OAM) for Sydney University Graduate Choir. More…
